This is the best way to get stains out of your suede shoes!

We love us a pair of beautiful suede shoes. They look classy and put a finishing touch on different sorts of outfits. However, if you get a little stain on them, they seem ruined. Of course there’s always the possibility to have them cleaned by a shoemaker but if you have to do that every time you wear them, that’s going to cost you a lot of money and time. Luckily, we found a great hack to clean your suede shoes in no time!

As with a lot of things in life, it’s better to prevent these kind of issues instead of curing them. However, we are very much aware that accidents happen and going outside with brand new shoes also means that they will get dirty eventually, even if you cover your shoes in suede spray. So to help you guys out, we found the perfect way to clean your suede shoes yourself!

Let’s start off with things you really SHOULDN’T do. Suede is a very delicate fabric so please don’t start rubbing  the stain like a crazy person because you will make it worse. What you can do, is grab a pencil with one of those white erasers at the end. Or if you don’t have one of those, just a regular white eraser.

By carefully rubbing the eraser on the stain, you’ll remove the dirt from the fabric. This way you won’t be left with a bald spot on your shoes. Voila! The stain on your shoe is now gone.

Remember, this hack will only work on small stains. For bigger stains you can use a suede brush and water with a tiny bit of vinegar. Just make sure you don’t rub too hard and don’t use a lot of vinegar. Otherwise, you’ll damage your shoes even more.
